Leo's Garden

The Food Connection is hard at work constructing an on-site demonstration and community garden. Our garden will grow vegetables and herbs in a variety of containers such as raised beds, pots, and window boxes. Food bank clients and members of the community are encouraged to visit the garden to participate in the growing and to learn easy ways that they can grow their own fresh food. All of the food grown in Leo's Garden will be distributed to food bank clients.

Spring is just around the corner!

As Spring approaches and the weather grows milder, the Food Connection is busy starting seeds in a local greenhouse. When planting time arrives, we'll be distributing many of these vegetable starts to our clients.
